# Start your free trial

> The free trial gives you 7 days of every Wavefront feature with 300 credits and no card. Here is how to sign up and what happens when it ends.

The free trial gives a new workspace 7 days of every feature and 300 credits, with no card needed. You start it by signing in for the first time and setting up a workspace.

## Sign up

1. Choose **Start free trial** on the Wavefront site, or open the sign-in page.
2. Enter your email and choose **Email me a code**, or choose **Continue with Google**.
3. If you used email, enter the 6-digit code from the message and choose **Sign in**. The code expires after 5 minutes. If it doesn't arrive, wait 30 seconds and choose **Send a new code**.
4. Signing in for the first time creates your account and opens the welcome screen.
5. Fill in the welcome screen and choose **Start planning**. This creates your workspace with its trial credits. See [set up your workspace](/help/getting-started/set-up-your-workspace).

## What the trial includes

The trial includes everything the paid plan does: the strategist, drafting, fact-checking, review, publishing to destinations, autopilot, Search Console, Google Analytics and Bing data, suggestions, site metrics, the REST API and the MCP server.

- **300 credits.** Drafting uses credits. Talking to the strategist and editing your plan don't.
- **7 days.** The **Billing** page shows how many days are left: "Free trial: N days left".
- **No card.** You don't enter payment details until you choose a plan.
- **One trial per person.** The trial credit is granted once per person, not once per workspace.

One feature is not part of the trial: linking social accounts through Ayrshare. That needs the paid plan. You can still connect LinkedIn or X directly where those destinations are offered, and copy any approved post to share by hand.

## When the trial ends

When the 7 days are over, the workspace has no plan until an owner chooses one. Your documents, strategy, drafts and published posts all stay where they are. What stops is new work: drafting, the strategist, the REST API and the MCP server answer with a message asking an owner to choose a plan.

## If something goes wrong

- **The code never arrives.** Check spam and promotions folders, then choose **Send a new code** after 30 seconds. You can request at most five codes an hour.
- **Sign-in is refused after several wrong codes.** Ten failed codes in an hour lock the address for an hour. Wait, then request a new code.
- **You can't create another workspace.** One person can own a limited number of workspaces. Use an existing workspace, or write to support@adwave.com.
- **Sign-up is closed for your address.** Email support@adwave.com from the address you want to use.
