Autopilot
Your calendar, drafted as each post comes due
Turn on autopilot and Wavefront drafts every active strategy's posts ahead of their dates, filling open slots from your idea backlog with the editorial mix. You still approve each one, unless an owner allows auto-approve for drafts that pass every check.
What it does
Autopilot, in detail
Drafted as posts come due
Each calendar post starts drafting as it comes due, so it reaches review in time for its date.
Fed by your backlog
Open slots take the best idea from the backlog: your ideas, the strategist's and the ones suggestions add.
Balanced by the editorial mix
Formats, pillars and subjects rotate to their target shares, with spacing rules and deadlines respected.
Gated auto-approve
Optional, owner-only, for articles from calendar items a person wrote, with zero blockers and no documents changed by an agent.
One automatic revision
With auto-revise on, a draft that fails a check gets one revision before it waits for a person.
Limits you set
Spend caps and cadence live under Settings, and every autopilot post records why it took its slot.
How it runs
Step by step
- 1
Save a plan
A strategy with a calendar and a cadence.
- 2
Turn on autopilot
One switch covers every active strategy.
- 3
Review as posts arrive
Approve, revise or reject each draft.
- 4
Optional: auto-approve
An owner allows it for drafts with zero blockers.
When auto-approve applies
Approval stays with people, with one exception an owner controls.
- Only autopilot's own article drafts, or the one revision it asked for
- Only from calendar items a person wrote in the web app
- Only with zero blockers in the draft's checks
- Never when an agent or API key changed what the draft read
- Every owner is emailed when it is turned on
Questions about autopilot
Does autopilot publish without me?
Not by default. Autopilot drafts; you approve. Auto-approve is a separate switch only an owner can turn on, and it only covers drafts that pass every check.
What does autopilot cost?
Drafts use credits like any other generation. Autopilot cadence isn't limited by the plan; credits and the spend caps you set are the only limits.
What happens if a payment fails?
You get seven days of grace. After that autopilot pauses until the payment goes through. Drafting by hand still works while credits last.

Strategy
Wavefront's strategist reads your site and search data, then proposes a brief, voice, pillars, keywords with volumes and a dated calendar you shape by chatting.
Review and approval
Review queues, comments, reviewer assignments and roles. Nothing Wavefront writes is published until a person on your team approves that exact version.
Writing and fact-checks
Wavefront researches each article, writes it in your voice, links every figure to its source and has an independent checker verify each claim before you review.
