Publishing
Publish where your site already lives
Connect your CMS, newsletter tool and social accounts once. Approved versions publish as drafts, go live now or wait for their calendar date. A revision updates the same page, and search engines hear about it.
What it does
Publishing, in detail
Twenty-plus destinations
WordPress, WordPress.com, Webflow, Ghost, Shopify, HubSpot, Contentful, Sanity, Strapi, Storyblok, Payload, Notion and GitHub-based sites.
On your schedule
Publish now, create a draft, or publish on the post's calendar date. Platforms with native scheduling get the date directly.
Updates, not duplicates
Publishing an approved revision updates the same post or page. Withdraw takes it down when you need to.
SEO fields filled in
Title, meta description, slug, categories, tags, hero image with alt text and structured data go where your platform expects them.
Search engines told
After a page goes live Wavefront checks that it loads and can ping IndexNow, so Bing and others hear about new and updated pages.
Anything else
A signed webhook, Zapier, Make, n8n or an export as HTML, Markdown, JSON or a zip covers platforms without a connector.
How it runs
Step by step
- 1
Connect once
An owner adds a destination with OAuth or a key.
- 2
Map fields
Choose where the title, body, image and SEO fields go.
- 3
Approve
Only approved versions can publish.
- 4
Publish or schedule
Now, as a draft, or on the calendar date.
Newsletters and social, with care
Some actions reach people directly, so they stay with people.
- Mailchimp, Kit and beehiiv get newsletter drafts; sending stays with you
- Posting to LinkedIn, X and other networks needs a person in the web app
- Agents and API keys never post to social accounts
- Destination credentials are stored encrypted and never shown back
Questions about publishing
Does Wavefront publish automatically?
Only approved versions can publish. Each destination has a default: create a draft, publish live, or publish on the post's calendar date.
My platform isn't listed. Can I still use Wavefront?
Yes. Use a signed webhook, Zapier, Make or n8n, publish through a GitHub repository, call the REST API, or export as HTML, Markdown, JSON or a zip.
What happens when I revise a published article?
Approve the new version and publish it. Wavefront updates the same post or page instead of creating a new one.

Review and approval
Review queues, comments, reviewer assignments and roles. Nothing Wavefront writes is published until a person on your team approves that exact version.
Performance
Wavefront reads Search Console and Bing data daily and suggests what to do: refresh pages near page one, fix titles, recover lost clicks and fill topic gaps.
Writing and fact-checks
Wavefront researches each article, writes it in your voice, links every figure to its source and has an independent checker verify each claim before you review.
