Performance
Search data turned into the next thing to write
Wavefront reads your Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools data every day, finds what would pay off, and suggests it, with Google Analytics alongside for traffic. Approve a suggestion and Wavefront does the work, then reports what changed 28 days later.
What it does
Performance, in detail
Pages near page one
Searches where one of your articles ranks 8 to 20 with real impressions get a refresh that expands the article for them.
Titles people skip
Top-ten results with far fewer clicks than usual get a new title and meta description, and nothing else changes.
Pages losing clicks
An article that lost 30% of its clicks gets a refresh. A big drop reaches you at once instead of in the weekly digest.
Topics no page covers
Searches you appear for that no page targets become ideas in your backlog, ready for autopilot.
Articles that compete
When two of your articles rank for the same search, the weaker one is revised to be distinct and link to the other.
Authority over time
Site rank, crawl health, page speed, links and visibility, each from its own provider, compared with the day you joined.
How it runs
Step by step
- 1
Connect
Search Console, Analytics and Bing, read-only.
- 2
Daily sync
Wavefront looks for what would pay off.
- 3
Approve
Edit, approve or dismiss each suggestion.
- 4
Measure
The result is recorded 28 days later.
Numbers you can trust
Every figure in a suggestion comes from the synced data, with its period.
- A model rewords titles, but any wording that adds a number is thrown away
- Brand searches and pasted query fragments are never suggested as topics
- Each metric is shown under its provider's own name and definition
- Google data is read-only, never sold and never used to train AI
Questions about performance
Can Wavefront change my site's technical SEO?
No. Problems like sitemap errors or pages that aren't indexed become tasks for whoever runs your site, with a Search Console link. Mark one done when it's fixed.
Does approving a suggestion publish anything?
No. A suggestion creates a revision or an idea. Revisions still need your review, and publishing an approved revision updates the same post.
How often will I hear about suggestions?
A weekly digest on Monday to owners and editors, and at once for a large drop in clicks. Owners can change both.
