For media and catalog sites
Articles grounded in your own catalog
Publish a catalog feed of what your site covers, such as films and people, and Wavefront writes reviews, ranked lists and guides that state only facts from it or cited sources, link your own pages, and go out in a balanced rotation.
The problem
What gets in the way today
Facts about thousands of entries
Release dates, credits and ratings are easy to get wrong at scale, and a wrong one undermines the whole site.
Internal links are an afterthought
Articles mention dozens of titles your site has pages for but link only a few, or link pages that don't exist.
The same subjects keep coming back
Without a plan, one director or franchise shows up three weeks running while the rest of the catalog sits unused.
How Wavefront helps
Built for media and catalog sites
A catalog feed as the source of facts
Your site publishes one JSON file listing its entities with facts, images, related entries and sources. Articles state only those facts or ones a cited source supports.
Links to your own pages
Articles link the entity pages they mention, every other internal link must be in your sitemap, and a link to a page that doesn't exist is caught before review.
Release dates handled
An entry not out yet on the publish date can't be described in the past tense, and claims about its reception are flagged.
Subjects spaced out
The entertainment preset gives every pillar its turn, never runs the same format twice in a row, and keeps a subject three weeks apart.
Markdown into your repository
The GitHub destination commits each article as Markdown with your front matter, for Jekyll, Hugo, Astro and similar sites, and can wait for your deploy.
Editorial mix
An example calendar mix
The entertainment preset gives every pillar an even turn, prefers reviews on Fridays, and keeps any one subject three weeks apart.

Questions
What is a catalog feed?
A JSON file your site publishes that lists the things it covers, each with a name, a page, facts, images, related entries and sources. Wavefront reads it every 24 hours, or right away when your deploy asks it to.
Will it reuse the same header image across posts?
Not by default. A hero image used by any of your 15 most recent published or scheduled articles isn't picked again, and you can change that number.
Can it publish to a Jekyll or Hugo site?
Yes. The GitHub destination writes Markdown with your front matter keys to your content folder, by pull request or direct commit, and can check the live page after your deploy.
