What it does
For a platform Wavefront doesn't publish to, such as Squarespace, Substack or Medium, export the approved article and post it yourself.
Every export uses the same renderer as the publishing connections, so the article looks the same wherever it ends up.
Before you start
- An approved article
How to connect Export (HTML, Markdown, JSON, zip)
- In Wavefront, open the approved article.
- Under Export, choose Copy as HTML, Copy as Markdown, or Download (.zip).
- Paste or upload it on your platform.
- To export from a script or an agent, use the export endpoint in the REST API or the export tool over MCP.
What it covers
- HTML: the article as the preview shows it, sanitized, with absolute image URLs
- Markdown: YAML front matter, then the heading, hero and body, safe to give a CMS
- JSON: the portable document with every field, including SEO fields, sources and JSON-LD
- Zip: a standalone HTML page, the Markdown, the JSON and the image files
Good to know
- Only articles export. Copy and images have Copy text and Download image instead.
- An exported article isn't tracked: Wavefront can't update or withdraw it for you.
