What it does
Wavefront posts the same messages to Microsoft Teams as to Slack: drafts ready for review, review requests, approvals, published pages, and a Monday summary of the week's calendar.
You connect it with a Teams Workflows webhook you create, so there is no app to install. Cards link into the app; approving stays there.
Before you start
- Owner role in the Wavefront workspace
- Microsoft Teams with Workflows (Power Automate)
How to connect Microsoft Teams
- In Teams, create a workflow with the trigger When a Teams webhook request is received, posting to your channel or chat.
- Copy the workflow's URL.
- In Wavefront, open Settings → Integrations and paste the URL in the Microsoft Teams section.
- Choose which messages to post, then choose Send test message.
What it covers
- Ready for review, review requested, needs input, changes requested and approved
- Published (with the live URL) and publishing failed
- The strategist's plan is ready
- A Monday summary of the week's calendar posts and overdue ones
Good to know
- No direct messages to reviewers yet; the channel card names the reviewer.
- Workflows run as the person who created them. If they leave, the flow can stop until an admin adds a co-owner.
- Posting as the flow bot in private channels isn't supported by Microsoft yet; standard and shared channels and chats work.
