Post approved copy to X from Wavefront

What it does

Wavefront posts approved X copy, with approved images if you pick them, to the X account you connect.

A public post can't be taken back, so only a person in the web app can post. Agents, API keys and autopilot can't.

Before you start

• An X account
• Owner role in the Wavefront workspace to connect it

How to connect X

1. In Wavefront, open Settings → Publishing and choose Add destination. Pick X.
2. Choose Connect with X and approve posting for the account.
3. Choose Test and save. The test shows the handle it posts as.
4. On an approved X post, pick approved images if you want them, then choose Post now.

What Wavefront sends

• The post text, checked against 280 characters as X counts them
• Up to 4 images (JPG, PNG, GIF or WebP) with alt text
• A link to the live post

Good to know

• No scheduling or drafts: X has neither, so only Post now is offered.
• Posts can't be edited. To change one, withdraw it (which deletes it) and post the new version.
