What it does
Each person in a workspace can make a private calendar feed URL and subscribe to it in Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar. Every planned post shows as an all-day event with its status.
The feed shows the same calendar as the app. Choose every strategy or one, with or without published posts.
Before you start
- Any role in the workspace, viewers included
- A calendar app that can subscribe to a URL
How to connect Calendar feed (ICS)
- In Wavefront, open Strategy and go to the saved calendar.
- Choose Subscribe, pick every strategy or only this one, and whether to include published posts.
- Choose Create feed URL and copy it. Wavefront shows it once.
- In your calendar app, add a calendar by URL and paste it.
What it covers
- One all-day event per calendar post, titled with the post title
- Status, format, strategy, keyword, pillar, angle and a link to the draft or plan
- Events update in place when a post moves or changes status
Good to know
- Read-only: moving an event doesn't move the post.
- Calendar apps decide when to refresh. Google Calendar can take 8 to 24 hours.
- The URL is a credential. Regenerate URL replaces it, and it stops working if you leave the workspace.
