What it does
Add Wavefront to Claude, on the web, the desktop app or Claude Code, and ask for work in a chat: plan with the strategist, draft articles and posts, read search data, and publish versions a person already approved.
Claude registers itself and signs in with OAuth, so there is no key to paste. Your workspace role still applies, and approval stays in the Wavefront web app.
Before you start
- Claude on the web or desktop, or Claude Code
- A Wavefront account in a workspace with a plan or trial
How to connect Claude
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Name it Wavefront, enter https://wavefront.adwave.com/mcp and leave the OAuth client ID and secret empty.
- Choose Connect, sign in to Wavefront, leave read, write and stay connected checked, and choose Allow.
- In a chat, turn the connector on from the tools menu and ask Claude to list your Wavefront workspaces.
- In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http wavefront https://wavefront.adwave.com/mcp, then /mcp to sign in.
What it covers
- Talk to the strategist, edit and save plans, and draft calendar posts
- Start articles, copy and images, answer their questions and request revisions
- Read documents, versions, comments, the calendar, search performance and site metrics
- Publish or schedule approved versions to destinations that allow agents
Good to know
- No approval tool: a person approves in the web app.
- Agents can't post to social networks, send newsletters or withdraw a publication.
- On Team and Enterprise plans, an organization owner adds the connector first.
- The connection lasts 30 days, then Claude asks you to authorize again.
